Puppy Preschool is the place to start your new companion's education. In this class you will learn how to: House break your puppy, groom and provide appropriate health care, play positive games with your pup, and begin shaping behaviors such as leash walking, waiting at the door, sit and come. You will also learn how to intervene properly to reduce behaviors such as play biting, jumping up, inappropriate chewing, and food or toy possessiveness. Your puppy will be exposed to a variety of socialization opportunities such as: meeting other people, including children, explore playtime with other puppies, and build confidence on the puppy obstacle course. This four-week course is a *must* for any puppy between the ages of 7 and 16 weeks.

If youre looking for a bit of control over your dogs behavior, our training programs can help. That's My Dog! pet obedience programs address all those annoying issues such as jumping up, barking, pulling on leash, door bolting, and chewing. We will teach you how to teach your dog to be reliable to your basic commands despite distractions. Your dog can learn to be reliable even off leash. Most of our clients achieve this level of success in as little as four weeks. Our programs include both private training sessions and group lessons. Private, in home lessons allows us to tailor the training of your companion to fit your needs and desires. Group lessons at That's My Dog! give you an opportunity to work with your dog in a variety of situations that include real world distractions.
Once enrolled in our basic training program, you advance at your own pace. We offer multiple group lessons throughout the week. Visit our Calendar page for this month's schedule. You choose which sessions you are available to attend, and you decide when you feel your dog has successfully completed the program. There is no limit to the number of sessions you may attend.
